MHAUS is here to save lives from Malignant Hyperthermia!

We provide free access to an MH Hotline that responds to about 900 calls each year from healthcare professionals (HCPs) who feel they are dealing with a possible MH event.  What if the hotline was not available - who would you call for help? The MH Hotline is staffed by MH experts who donate their valuable time on a 24/7 basis every day of the year! They dedicate themselves to provide a calm and knowledgeable resource in times of turmoil.

MHAUS is proud to assist MH susceptible individuals and their families by listening carefully to concerns, providing guidance and relevant information. The MHAUS Patient Liaison Committee is actively helping others by sharing their own personal experiences and insight and providing directions to answers.

The MHAUS website contains information for healthcare professionals, patients, and family members dealing with MH and NMSIS challenges.  It also provides contact information for genetic and muscle biopsy testing centers (CHCT), a link to the North America MH Registry of MHAUS and much more. Visit the website to search for a topic you are concerned about to be directed to resources. The administrative staff coordinates responses to questions from our experts, when appropriate. We are renovating the website with plans to finish in the near future - we hope you will watch for the new look!
