The organizing committee is comprised of:

• Henry Rosenberg, MD, CPE, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Director, Department of Graduate Medical Education, and President, MHAUS;
• Robert Dirksen, PhD Department of Pharmacology and Physiology, University of Rochester Medical Center;
• Sheila Muldoon, MD Department of Anesthesia, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences; and
• Sheila Riazi, MSc, MD, Department of Anesthesia, Toronto General Hospital.

The organizing committee has been in communication since early 2012 to discuss the outcomes of the last MHAUS scientific conference, topics significant to MH and related disorders that have evolved and changed in the last few years, and which topics need to be presented to the scientific community at this time. From this discussion, an agenda was developed and presenter(s) chosen for each topic area. Each presenter was chosen for the conference based on their expertise in a specific topic area. #mhsc13
